Memorial Day

Most of the threads have been talking about all of the sales going on this weekend, but in the spirit of the Memorial Day Weekend, I would like to say thank you to those of you that have served to protect this great country that I am fortunate enough to live in! America!

Freedom is not free. A shame so many forget the sacrifices made to provide that freedom.

Thank you to all that have served regardless of branch.

 

Never anything wrong with thanking those who have served.

Remind your friends and family that Memorial day is to remember those who paid the ultimate sacrifice in service.

If you've ever spent or get to spend time with a Gold Star family on Memorial day, you may get a new perspective on what it is all about.

Those of us who are surviving Veterans have our day in November

I thank all those who serve our country and appreciate the sacrifice they make. The warriors are always held in the highest regard by my family. Thank you and we celebrate and remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice this weekend.

Black Hills National Cemetary. Visited this amazing National Treasure last year while driving with my Daughter when she reported to Pensacola Fl. for Pilot Training. Very humbling place.

 

You know, I ordered some parts once from a vendor friend of mine, and knowing I was a Marine, he sent me out the parts with a free, no-charge couple of crayons included....complete with custom tooth-marks.

Bastard got me. lol

 

Just like how Wheelers Off road sends candy with their orders!!! I kid I kid

Understood, but unfortunately they aren't here to thank. I just thought Id give a shout out to the veterans on the site and thank them for their service

Was actually talking today with some coworkers. Disappointing how many didn't even know what Memorial Day really was. And the ones that sort of understood it thought of it like they would Veteran's Day.
