Will this be too much detail?

 

That is one thing I'm worried about, that and that there are 9 colors. I can make it 7 easily, but still 1 over.

When I spoke to the perspective maker, the 6 colors would be for a lower cost patch. The more colors the more detailed, the bigger and more expensive it would be. Trying to keep costs down for both the buyers and the profit donation money.

 

Yeah, I'm trying to figure out how to cut it all down (starting with colors)
I'm stuck with 8 colors: black, dark gray, light gray, pyrite mica, tan, yellow, orange, red. I'm able to take out the very light gray, but that makes it look a little bit odd. See below:

To reduce complexity, I can always remove the bed rack, RTT, snorkel, and tire carrier. Again, depends on everyone's preference (and what we can do resource wise).

 

We could always make it an RE. 1.5"ish x 1.2"ish. I suggest making the soft top light grey or the same color of the truck and blend in some of the fine detail.

I can play with the image a little bit if you'd like

 

RE? Not sure what that means, sorry. I can def try making the topper gray, just wouldn't be what he had. fine details can be removed easily, just let me know which.

 

Understandable, I'm just trying help. RE stands for Ranger Eye. A smaller patch style.

I was also thinking if we did a different angle of his truck, it might be easier to minimize major detail and colors.

For reference purposes, here's a look at a few different sizes and materials.

 

I'm working on a new angle, won't have his stripes on it unfortunately.

 

quick question @orezona do I need to have all lines perfectly aligned, or can I just mask over other crap with detailed parts and call it a day?
