Nice wheels, enjoy! I got the 4Runner pro wheels a couple of weeks ago but couldn't justify the $1k for new tires in addition to the wheels when the OEM tires only have 4,200 miles on them. I'm jealous!

Sold my OEM wheels and tires locally and almost covered the cost of the Pro Wheels. Def eased the $$ pain.

 

Those are nice wheels. Not flashy. Just simple. That’s what wheels should be in my opinion.

 

SCS is nice when they actually have them in stock lol.

Nice looking rims. I am in the same boat with a set 17” rims sitting in the closet, but I am too cheap to buy tires, due to only 2k on my new Tacoma with 16”
For the record, I bought the rims for my old 4runner.

I would put RRW and Summit up against anything SCS is making. 6 month lead times? Majority of their designs are fake beadlocks. No thanks…

They are purposely hyper-inflating pricing and demand, and giving the perception of rarity, by slow rolling production, not providing pre-orders, and promoting ridiculous "wheel drops." And the funny thing is they don't even deny it. Haha.

But hey, as long as there are people willing to follow their bro-gram release posts and take part in keyboard Olympics to place an order...why would they do anything different? Good on them...I guess?

other than the classic 5 spoke F5, I don’t think SCS wheels are actually all that attractive and cutting edge. YMMV, but the only new model they have released in years was the gen 5, which is just a re-design of the F5.
