I know there's got to be a thread on how to install a mesh grill insert but I can't seem to find it. Can somebody please shoot me a link or even give me a run through on how to do it. I have an 07. I was told there is some bondo work to be done for the 2nd gens in my body style. I got my mesh from Customcargrills.com and am installing in the stock grill. Any help is greatly appreciated!!

They have a video for 2012+ but is there a video for the 05-11 grills?

I went the cheapo route. Bought black mesh gutter covers, cut them to size and zip tied them to the inside of the grill. Looks like a custom job for $3.50.

Getting new Michelin LTX AT/2 tires put on as we speak then taking grandkids swimming. Will post pic this afternoon.
Nice thing about the gutter covers is that they are metal not plastic. I think they'll withstand a stone impact better than the plastic. That's why I did it, to protect my A/C condenser. Not for the looks. But they do look nice.

image.jpg Here's my stock grill with the gutter covers covering the open spaces where stones can get in. Hard to see in the pictures.
