Meshach - My first truck

Yes, this is my first true truck! I had a Jeep Cherokee 4x4 in the late '90s, but that's as close as I've come to owning a truck before now.


This is my 2015 Prerunner I purchased last week from my dad who was buying a new Honda. I've wanted something that would work better for my family, for hauling stuff around, and for our outdoor adventures. I had been looking at Tacomas already, so when my dad told me he was getting a new truck, I jumped at the chance to buy his "old" one.

7441 miles on this 3 year old truck!



Plans
Not planning too much at the moment ...

• Tonneau cover is a must
• Possibly a pop n lock
• Sound upgrade? - I have 2 10" subs & and an amp laying around that I may put in. I'd love to have a head unit with Apple CarPlay (love that in my wife's Civic)

The Pre-truck Era
Thought I'd share a few photos of my last two cars.

My last car ... MKVI VW GTI. I've never loved a car as much as this one.

I took this picture last week before trading it in. Not bad for 7+ years old, right?

Then there was the MINI Cooper S. So much fun, but the 2 door had to be retired soon after kid #2 arrived.
