Are there installation instructions with the relay for the KC5?

@MESO just read that the Baja 3rd brake light setup should use a relay. How would I connect the relay?

    Thanks

You’d pay $700+? I doubt it. Why do people get so bent out of shape when they miss out on a product? I was reading reviews on his site where people reviewed a product negatively because it’s been sold out.. that is idiotic and not the point of PRODUCT reviews. It’s not like your truck is going to disintegrate without them, so calm down and be patient. I’m currently waiting (patiently) for multiple MESO products and have been doing so for some time now. Good luck.

Uhh...they are currently 100 something. MESO said he doesn’t make money off them so he does very limited runs. If he doesn’t make money I suggested raising the price since there is such high demand. Why you would jump from 100 to 700+ I have no idea. Reading is hard sometimes I guess.

Would I pay a higher price that is actually in the realm of possibilities, like 200? Yes.

Gotcha. The original post isn’t the same prices listed as the website and I quickly looked at the price with lights $320-425 instead of just the molds and doubled that.. that was the $700’ish, my mistake. The mold alone would be $360 if doubled from prices on the site. Either way, I hope you get whatever it is you haven’t been able to get yet that’s making you upset.

Can someone please post an instruction piece on how to install the BD5 from beginning to end, wiring, silicone, mounting, relay all that included?

Wouldn't that be nice? For $320 you'd think maybe you could get some instructions. Would have purchased already if they existed.

I suppose it was my fault for assuming there would be some. And I spent approx 460$.

Anyone know if just the Baja designs rock lights need the relays? Are the KCs all good without out them?

^^ I agree, some instructions would be nice.

To be fair MESO’s part is only 130-180 depending on which model you get. The rest of it is just the cost of lights which I doubt he makes money on since I bought mine separately for almost the same price.

Did you look through the thread to see if someone installed a kit like you purchased?

You are buying a custom light kit. You should know at least how to wire a set of lights including a relay.

What I’d suggest is looking up someone installing those lights anywhere. Or really any lights as it doesn’t matter if they are on the bumper or anywhere else. Once you have the wiring figured out (it’s not hard. The routing is the hardest) then the silicone should be pretty simple. Seal it. There isn’t anything magical here either.
