That sucks. I absolutely hate reading that when I check tracking.

Received an installed mine yesterday, love the easy switch between red and white to match my V2 dome. Only thing I have noticed is that my map lights take two clicks to switch colors for the first time, the one click to switch back. Once the truck is off and I come back later the same thing happens. Just weird

One possible thing to try might be flipping the connector around? I think like the original DC dome version, they are not polarity specific. I think @MESO need to make a change on the dome though?

@MESO might have some other idea hear?

    I noticed that on mine.

Maybe I'll try @tonered idea if it bothers me, but probably leave them as it. I don't think it will bug me. I'm so use to double clicking a mouse all day it won't even be something I notice having to do.

Thanks for the tip, considered this but haven't gotten around to flipping the plug. I'll report back if it ends up making a difference.

Similar. Also, my thought is that they won't be switched all that often if it is the same for me.

RIGHT?! I was just about to edit my post, I won't be switching them that often either so really won't be a problem

    Hahaha!

It is more of a thing for my wife who prefers white. The venn diagram there has a pretty small overlap.

Polarity shouldn’t matter. But if the issue continues just submit a ticket and I can get you out a new one. Electronics nor MESO aren't perfect, but in the end I’ll get it working for ya!
I have had some people say the first click takes 2 presses, and I’m looking into that as we speak. I never experienced this but weird things like this can always pop up.

Mine are like that as well. I don't know if it bothers me yet or not though, ha. I'll find out after this weekends camping trip.

I have the same issue - not really annoying to push twice. If you remember, we had the same thing crop up with the dome light on certain Tacomas. I wonder if this is a manifestation of the same isue?

I’m looking into this but I think it’s more of a capacitance tolerance VS voltage(is what the dome had). The onboard caps store the power when you first hit the button to toggle colors. But I’ll get to the bottom of it:D
