It's been a while since I've cleaned an M4/M16...that's a great exploded graphic on each individual piece.

The bolt goes into the bolt carrier...which I identified incorrectly as the carrier...doh! But you knew what I meant, right fellas?

This US Air Force Airman (me) is a Supply Troop by trade...who was assigned to CAFTT, Red Horse (CE), OSI, ACOMS, RSS, HQ/PACAF, HQ/USAFE and various Logistic Readiness Squadrons as Enlisted.

    Nothing like a refresher course...thanks!

LOL... I have an AR-15 (amongst many other similarly designed weapons) and even I needed a refresher. Ever since .223 ammo prices skyrocketed, I've had very little shooting and cleaning fun.

Look at the post you responded to with the above. Where did I call the above the "Bolt Carrier Group"? I called it the bolt assembly which is a subset of the BCG. Also.. I know you were attempting to be snarky but I didn't post the stupid meme. I responded that the picture was of a bolt.

Easy killer... I wasn't blaming you for the meme.

And yes, you didn't call it a BCG... rather, that was the people commenting after you...

My wife was sitting in the truck at the time of the photo, and she had a bored/angry look on her face so I photoshopped the window black

Any of the married guys here can attest to exactly what I'm talking about

My smaller one is a small tool bag with things like a knife, lighter, leatherman, small tactical flashlight, etc. I bought velcro straps that I loop through the flaps on the case and through the holes in the rack to mount it. Worked like a charm.
