For the record. I have never tried to defend Meso before. Just have a different opinion than the majority on this one.

    Hey guys
I am here. Took a little break from TW to focus on family/life/etc. I am digging back into my DM's here. My main customer service helper (Austin) is pretty good about responding to tickets submitted through the website. As you know, I will support all of my products no questions asked. So if it's defective..we replace it. The only "IF" is if we don't have anymore in stock. (I try and keep a few laying around for this purpose). If out of stock is the case, we usually offer the customer a full refund or wait for the next restock. Regardless, I will try and work it out case by case.

Did OP fix his problem with an $8 foam tape or did he get Meso to send brand new lights?

Not be rude, but you sound like a fanboy making excuses for piss poor service.

OP, this is what you get for buying from millenial owned "boutique" business. The owner is the important one, not the customer. Unless it's something bad enough that when you shame them on the gram, the fanboys turn on them, they don't give a flying...

So what your saying is never purchase second hand meso products from TW members because getting any replacement parts is not there responsibly and so you shouldn’t expect to able to repair anything is someone sends you something with a small problem?

Depends on the problem I would think. In the case in this thread, with this problem, no, so I think most agree that MESO shouldn’t be on the hook for anything as this is was not a defect, it was damage. I think what is up for debate is the communication aspect of the situation.

I agree he should not be on the hook to replace it for free but if the company can’t even respond when you are reaching out to simply purchase a replacement part I am definitely not going to buy a used set of 400 dollar turn signals or anything else used. The op didn’t ask for anything for free he just wanted to know if he could purchase an oem replacement part. If you bought a used Tacoma and tried to get an oem axle for it and Toyota refused to respond or help you because you where not the original buyer you probably wouldn’t do much business with them in the future. It’s just bad customer service no matter how you look at it. At the very least he could have responded and said I’m sorry but it’s not something I’m able to help you with. Had he done that this thread wouldn’t even be here.

Agreed. To be fair though I've seen MESO take care of high dollar items like that (tail lights) in at least a couple threads. I wouldn't hesitate buying those used. Again though, the communication part is the problem. This I think most agree on.

Why here? Want to... Shame him publicly?
Is this how the world works now?
If so, I want no part of it. I can only imagine if it got to Corporate America...
"Caterpillar? You have not responded to your vendor X in two weeks! We are going to try to publicly humiliate you in all forms of media until you do! Never mind you have many good reasons, nevermind I don't ship to you on time, nevermind the public only hears one side of the story, I denounce you!"
    Jesus.

Umm considering I’ve email them for months now and pmed him with him Saying I’ll have Austin email you and still nothing . Mind your own business, im sorry spending money on a item that has issues and the vendor saying they would fix/replace a item has gone months without a response. Again mind your own.
