Yea, nice! I like it. But damn, was hoping to see what the horizontal hole was for. Memory ain't what it used to be. And I guess if you keep adding things to your truck you can always start adding switch panels to the glove box lid LOL.

Clue- it's a factory switch. You have one too. I am consolidating all OEM buttons into 1 spot(and adding a few)

Right but most aftermarket panels you buy don't go the extra mile. You have to be a little ME-SO to add them when you make your own. Why I thought it was a nice touch.

Correct. The premium tech models have a different lower switch panel (5 holes instead of 3) and raised bars inbetween.
I wanted to upgrade to the tech(yours) but it's $$$ and I want it a little more customized (relocate power inverter and cab light switch there)

Ah, okay. I knew there were different panels, just didn't realize they they cheaped out on the added detail.

Us peasants that didn't get the fancy add-ons don't have the BSM or Rear Sensor buttons; Aka only 3 holes(ECT, QI, AUX/USB).

Yeah. I really like my customized lower Switch Panel. Although it’s the OEM one, it fits all my needs now.

Did you upgrade that panel or was it in the truck?
I'm mainly doing it so all the switches to the left of the steering column can now go together in the center of the dash and I now I can have a completely free and blank canvas in the space to the left of the column.

No. I upgraded this Panel. I didn’t pay the additional amount for all the fancy add-ons I didn’t really need. I love it tho and it makes it nice to be able to have both my seat heater switches in the middle.

Ya that works perfect for your application.
Maybe I'm just stubborn and have to reinvent the wheel for everything

So the 2018s have one more switch down there. I told myself that I will not do that project again. Taking apart the whole dash was a big process. It was fun to do and not hard but definitely time consuming. I like how the rear window switch is in the middle of the truck tho. That’s nice. Maybe Stew can make one of these versions ;) I still have my OEM that I could mount it on and think about re-installing later if I want to move this switch over to the middle. ;)

My OCD is questioning why they didn't swap the USB/Aux port and the rear window port with the wireless charger button :goingcrazy:

My OCD would be asking why they didn’t put the rear window port on one side and then the USB/Aux port on the other side, with all four push buttons in the middle lol
