That does look sweet. Too bad a setup like that would block the TSS on a 3rd gen.

Hey meso, you wouldn't know how to crack open the fuse and relay box in the engine bay would you? Preferably without breaking it. I need to get to the hot wire going into the horn relay in section C

@mesojdm i know you custom printed the head of the snorkel but what snorkel did you start with? I am looking to "steal" your idea and install that snorkel on my taco with a custom printed head. I vaguely remember you trying a hilux and possibly a land cruiser snorkel. Besides the head, what else was customized to make it fit as you did?

Also, love your work. Great attention to detail, i actually have your gashole on my taco.

Thanks! Feel free to copy it. There wasn't any info or people that have done it before, so I was just winging it as I went and it turned out great. I actaully didn't 3D print any parts. The snorkel "body" is from a prado 150. The "head" came from a hilux kit. Frankensteined together and this is the end result. I've been through water crossings, mud holes, etc and just checked my airbox the other day and it's sparkling clean:D

I know nothing about how an engine swap would work. Why can't you keep the 4WD? Is it that you have to swap the tranny too, or that you'd have to come up with a new transfer case or something?

Read through the whole thread! Simply amazed on the build! What a treat!
Had to post on FB group to find your build

I meant to ask, how did you make the mounting brackets for the Squadrons on the front of the roof rack? Any pics?
Couldn't see them in post 379. I'm looking to make something similar, but don't want the bolts showing

Awesome! Do you have details in the snorkle that I can piece together? Or would you Build another on commission? Thanks

Thanks! Brackets were made from 3/16 steel bar bent for tabs and welded on the inside. They are super sturdy, I don't foresee them going anywhere. The hardest part was getting each light vertically adjusted to match the rest. The cutout hole in the fairing didn't leave much room.
    MESONUTS

Ya, as jcado posted it's a mix between a few snorkels. Not the most perfect fit one, but it'll do.

Did some front suspension makeover this weekend. King 2.5 with resis and some camburg UCA. Also removed sway bars Rides smooth so far, but I just do it for the street cred.

Had to modify the resi holders as they would sit flush with the C4 frame bracket. But all is good now.
Rears are next but I saved the hardest for last. BAMF extended shock towers are gettinf welded in.

And made a little headway on the Grombler. Sorry @DefconBrix, but the name is too fitting:).
Have a lot more stuff going in. Hopefully will dyno high 20's.:fingerscrossed:

Little is not in my vocabulary:)
Fender is just sitting in place, I am not sure if I even want to run it. I'm waiting to get the rest of the plastics on to make a decision. But yeah that motard front fender might be in the ticket

Fits the bike really well! But like everything else, that even had to be modded. I disconnected the amber "back light" feature, rewired and mounted my own high output LED. Now my DRL is REALLY visible.
