MESO Customs: Sold Out

OP has posted 4 messages in his Long tenure on TW and complaining about limited runs!!! He buddy don't start looking into patches..

 

@everybody - no need to bash. New user, new truck. Just needs information and dose of reality. Not everything is a mega-corporation.

For those who wonder what the investment looks like - that great 3D printer? $40K+ and those injection molds? (You gotta have them made…) let’s just say you gotta spend money to make money. Don’t even take a guess at what 400 stage 1 harnesses cost (and that only makes 200 kits)…

 

@MESO is a guy. If he has to come in here and tell you what day things are going to be available we’re all going to have to wait that much longer..

His site has an email me when available thingy- were all signed up. Get in line or get something else.

Supply chain disruptions are real right now. Especially for Asian outsourced items, which include some of the popular Mesos offerings. I work in the electrical industry, and some products I could get “next day” are now 19 weeks out, 6 months out, 3rd quarter 2022, etc.

It’s just gone back to the true normal, like when people had to wait a year or more for a sailing ship to make it around Cape Horn. It’s a good thing. It’s teaching a whole generation of Karens the value of patience.

 

I just signed up for email notifications on every website that offers the pieces I still want. That way I will grab it when it comes out from one of the websites giving me better odds. I was able to buy most of the pieces I want from Meso directly. I appreciate what he has done this far in the pursuit of customization.

 

This is why I respect the hell of Meso. I know this feeling all too well as a guy who just tinkers and thought the same thing myself, I totally get that. I do maybe 1/100000th of the “sales” that stew does (and that is being generous to my self), but even that starts to become a whole separate job. At least Stew had the balls to do it. It can be frustrating at times, especially if it is actually holding up part of the rest of the build, because I need more switches damn it!!!… sorry, got side tracked there. Just be patient, or do it yourself better. That is how capitalism works.

 

I am always SUPER STOKED to see @MESO products sold out on his web page. He is doing it right suppling “90%” of the demand and the rest of us 10%’rs have to wait. It is very rare to see his products discounted.
