Thank goodness most of meso’s stuff is out of stock! If it was always available I’d be divorced by now!

While I agree that OP is whining (some might say "complaining") I agree with the sentiment that it has been years since some products were in stock. What I always hate to see is how quickly everyone jumps on the lets-bash-OP bandwagon without offering any helpful advice. If there were others making the same kinds of products then it really wouldn't be an issue, but from OP's perspective (new member, so he probably got scared away from these forums now, which is sad) there is a vendor advertising cool products for his new truck and yet they are never available. So he thinks "hmm, maybe they shouldn't advertise until they have enough stock available" (which sounds sensible) and so he posts his frustration. And gets slammed by the community.

Point being, it would be nice if mods would jump into these "complaint" threads at the start and tell everyone to just not bash, it isn't helpful to anyone especially new members who don't yet know the etiquette. Also, I am signed up with correct email not being spam-filtered on a few products and have *never* received a notice, and yet on at least one item I found out they had briefly been available for about an hour...so perhaps there are technical website issues as well? Something to think about...

I guess let the bashing commence again...

Supply chain has kinks in it. There is a lot to be said about the beauty of small batch production. You can find some goodies on the bst thread. I got meso puddle pods off there, and the proprietor of meso, Stu I believe, was extremely helpful in the installation. I added a switch the original owner did not have, stu told me all the wiring, with diagrams and explanations of what not. So, in surmise they may be out of things, but they still provide support and a quality product.

You can’t get online and see a product out of stock and then try again 2 years later and see it out of stock and assume it’s been sitting there for 2 years without having a restock.

I’m going to assume you don’t check the BST thread much either because I see them on there quite a bit. That’s where I got some MESO products.

Obviously you are new to purchasing something online, here’s a few steps to learn. So the first step is to learn how vendors from all over set up release dates for restock items that tend to sell really fast. Next up is to stay up to date on the release and when it comes you have to log into that computer or phone or whatever technology you have just discovered and purchase it right then and there. No exceptions.

Once you purchase, then you have to wait for it to come in the mail. After that you will need to come back to this website and complain about not being able to install the product and need help. It’s ok though, we know you didn’t watch it on the vendors website where he attached the video for installation. I will help you right now. Two options are to go back to the website you ordered it from and watch the video that says installation, or there is a new website called YouTube and it has in-depth videos for everything you need and they created it just for you.

Last and best option is to trade it in for something other than a Toyota, that way you don’t have to wait for his products anymore or make a post complaining about it.

    Check build thread!
This is the single most ignorant thing I've ever read.

Fucking have some compassion for small businesses, especially for guys like @MESO who work their asses off tirelessly and have better customer service than any large business I've ever seen, despite having less than 1/10th of the resources at their disposal.

Not to mention it took me 2 1/2 months to get a truck. I saw 5 slip between my fingers as they were traded and sold by other salespeople. Finally I got an allocation and then waited another month until it was built. Toyota, not a small business, can’t keep up with supply either.

Those products are already paid for whether they sell or not. Unless he drop ships, in which case, they won't be in stock anyway.

I believe stew posted somewhere that he explicitly prohibited his vendors from drop-shipping his stuff.

Which was new territory for them since they drop-ship everything else. I'll refrain commenting on my general opinion of drop-shippers.

I won't buy any MESO products until he comes out with an improved version of the Hella Sharp Tone.

And only then if he markets it as MESO Horny

Man, I rarely get a craving for sweets or too much fast food. Anyways, I wanted some ice cream one day, go to sonic close to my house… and they don’t have ice cream. I was so upset I order 8 corn dogs.
