    Hello y'all,

I recently bought a Meso Customs Stealth Pro Shift Knob V2 which came with a wiring option for the second auxiliary trigger on the shifter knob—diagram of the product below.

I want to connect the auxiliary trigger to the wiring harness for my factory panoramic view monitor button

Which leads me to my first question. With the primary trigger, the grey male connector head directly connects to the ECT wiring harness. Would there be any issue if I slap on the same connector to the auxiliary wires like so (of course with extra wire length)

...and connect it directly to the PVM wiring harness, or will I have to take extra precautions to ensure I don't exceed 1 amp like fitting in a relay in there somewhere?

Secondly, I was able to identify the grey connector housing model name as "4W TAB HSG CODING 2 GRAY" (Model no. 1379674-2) from TE Connectivity but am not sure what type of pin connector I need to crimp onto the wires before slotting them through this thing.

Anyone know the specific designation for these types of connectors that would typically be sticking out of the back of OEM Tacoma switches? Based on the specifications of the TE Connectors, I planned on purchasing a compatible pin connector manufactured by TE themselves but was wondering if it followed some universal standard or if these were proprietary connections.

Thank you all for any advice or suggestions in advance

I am not sure about the connection to the PVM switch, but as to replacing the amp plug on the auxiliary switch, there shouldn’t be any issue. The switches in the Meso shifter are dry contacts, meaning they just make a connection between the yellow and the white wire, so that can be a 12V+, a ground, or really anything in between. I highly doubt the PVM switch is drawing anywhere near an amp, so you are probably aware there, but that is pure speculation on my part.
Second, the terminals you are looking for are TH 025 series.

You’ll need a pretty small open barrel type crimper for them. If you know what wire lengths you are looking for, hit me up and I can probably make it up for you. I can even make amp AMP superseal (like is on the Meso switch now) to a TE Connectivity TH 025 adapter for you.

I’m sure @caribe makaira will know that answers to the rest.

Thanks for your response, @Puppypunter. Good to hear from you again. Your conversion harnesses have been working flawlessly on my father's SR.

In regards to the auxiliary wire setup, I'll definitely take you up on your offer. Will save me a lot of trouble getting all the tools to set up what seems like a one-time thing for my case.
