I discovered the difference in the pads when I was thinking maybe adding an additional LED would solve it. The pads have little bubbles that sit above the LEDs though, so if there wasnt one of them, I don’t think an additional LED would do much good? Maybe with the lighter pad, maybe.

It should only take three minutes since you have four bikes.

This is my thing. When I drive my wife's sienna it's the way you would expect. But by tacoma I instinctively go to turn the radio down and jump 36 tracks backward.

Dunno, man. I'm only seeing cooperative brainstorming and no bitching. I think it's cool.

I couldn't help think of the grumpy old man memes when I read your post. LOL

Just installed mine a few hours ago. Took about 1 min to undo about a years worth of conditioned muscle memory and pressing “Right” to try to still turn the volume up. Now I am up and downing the volume and right and left-ing my tracks with shear bliss. The blue illumination I just saw people have mentioned not matching? I might have gotten lucky, but Brightness and blue color is spot on with OE.

I am pretty sure I’ll be sleeping at least .02% more soundly tonight.

Installed mine this morning. Took 15 minutes, works as it should have from the factory.

I’ll have to wait till this evening to confirm, but it looks like I’ve got the faded and dim volume up. Whatever the issue is, led brightness, rubber color etc… it looks like the line weight of the graphic itself is partly to blame. Volume down is about twice as wide as volume up:

Be thankful for early adopters… especially after the tail light “fall out”. These guys deserve praise for going where no man has gone before

Fortunate favors the bold! I didn’t notice anyone freaking out about the lighting issue so I must have those guys on ignore. :rofl:I’m very happy to be an early adopter of this mod. I think a lot of the animosity towards MESO is the same as what it was towards KJTO. I have products from both companies and have been very happy, of course some people would complain if you hung them with a new rope.

Good catch! I agree, that could be the issue itself, or perhaps that with a combination of the image being too large for the raised button area. Might work better on a flat button surface like the OEM switch. Either way, I forwarded the image and comments to Travis for consideration in case the MESO team doesn't see it here.

I’ll have to shoot a picture of mine - seems to be the worst of the bunch with the up icon barely visible.
