Meso maps

Has anybody had any shipping errors on there Meso Maps? I got 2 of the same side. Trying to get ahold of the Stew Gibbs

 

I received my order Friday. Installing tomorrow. I’ll post pics if there are any issues. Not to worry about MESO, he’ll make it right.

I ordered a set of red and a set of white and besides USPS delivering them to my neighbor, I didn't have any issues. I'm so torn on which ones to run. The white are EXTREMELY bright and light every corner of the cabin. However, they could be very distracting if turned on while driving and drew a lot of winged critters into the cabin just while installing and testing them out. The red are much easier on the eyes and seem to provide as much "brightness" as the stock bulbs. They also didn't seem to attract as many bugs during install and testing. Coming from law enforcement, I always used my red dome light on traffic stops and general cabin lighting. That being said, I'd have to switch it to white momentarily as Kansas elected to print the driver's license numbers in red. Red light can't read red text.

I MESO could make a selectable red/white and keep the brightness of each the same, that would be the ultimate option. Overall, I'm pleased with both options.

I don’t understand threads like this… it’s not the form of contact that one should take, that is unless there has been ample time for the seller to respond and your kinda wanting to put on blast. You email Or you can pm here but to start a thread
Give him or any company time to respond to the email you sent informing of the problem- they will respond (especially Meso)

 

I have the white ones. They are extremely bright. I might go back to stock.

 

Red maps, white dome. Run the reds unless you NEED LIGHT, then turn on the dome.

 

Tried to install today (8/11/19). Only passenger side worked. I emailed Stew. I’m sure he’ll make it right.

 

Did you try flipping the connector around?

Great people. He always takes care of anyone’s issues. I do know he has a TON of stuff going on right now so we haven’t seen him post as much the last few weeks.

OP- Seriously, just give him some time and patience and he will take care of you.

 

I tried everything. I even checked the passenger light on the driver side and it worked.

 

K not tryna derail the op thread, but, try unplugging the map, leaving the black plug in the console and flip the map light plug 180° then plug back in...

 

Done, done, and done.
