    Only issues I have had were a while ago in the first run where they were a little too loose and rattled. I'd just pop it apart and make sure everything is seated correctly, and there aren't any little plastic burs causing a hangup.

    Yes that is normal. Will not affect the fob at all and is still 100% waterproof because the seal is actually inside against the membrane. Here’s a pic of mine

    Took the flip fob apart tonight to fix the blade that came out. Used thread locker on the set screw for the blade and also put a dab of glue on the blade end. Put everything back together and now we’ll see how long it holds together. Like the flip fob, hope it stays together.

    Had anyone else had the spring in their flip key suddenly stop flipping? I have 2 flip keys and both worked properly until today, when one of them stopped popping out when I press the button. It still locks open once the key is out, but I have to pull the key up with my fingernail. I haven’t dropped it or abused it in anyway. You guys have any ideas?

    Could it have unwound? Meso has a video on the site that shows how to re-wind the spring if you needed to take the fob apart. Maybe start there. The molded cross on the fob sits in the grooves on the flip mechanism and its possible the fob separated slightly in your pocket and the cross slipped allowing the spring to unwind.

    @MESO Is my fob supposed to be chipping away by the screws? It’s a year and a half old so maybe the ABS isn’t as strong as I’d hoped. And sadly the Barcelona Red is sold out

    I had the same problem with my flip fob. Contacted Meso and Austin hooked me up with a new mechanism and everything has been working fine. Absolute great customer service.
