    My tips:
    1. Use dish soap on the electrical tape covered wire to fish through boot
    2. You don't need to disconnect the door handles from their wire, just pop the whole thing out from the door panel

I installed mine today, I also had trouble with the pillar, it’s bowed and you can tell it’s stuffed, even with the harness clip detached. I think what makes it worse for some vs others is the moonroof drain is in there also.

Anyone with a moonroof figure out how to make it all fit?

I have a OEM moonroof, I got it to a satisfactory point (not perfect) but only by a; harness clip detached (which you already did) and b; against my gut feeling, I did slightly pull some cables down and push others up to "spread apart" all the cables and spread out that thickness some. It's really just the extra harness that causes it to get "phat" in the center.

Also, this may sound weird but after the a pillar trim is back on I did squeeze and push up and down the end piece closest to the window to help mold a tighter fit, as well as up and down the front end where the weather strip is help is conform more snug.

I don't have a pic at the moment from the inside but I did include one from the outside I took the day after I completed my install. I believe you will see it "not perfect" but good enough to the point that nothing is visible or aesthetically detracting, unless you purposely are looking for it :)

Unhook the clip that the oem harness is clipped onto. Little white clip. If you do that, you can slide it down some and basically stack both harness connectors flat. That’s how I got mine to fit

That’s what I did. I pulled the slack down from underneath the dash.

I also unhooked the wiring connected near the tweeter panel so it wouldn’t keep putting stress on the harness to fall out. Still all out of the way.

That’s what I did, and how it is now, but I still have a bulge. It isn’t terrible, but it will bother me. I may just have to use positaps instead of the plug and play harness.
