Not sure if my local dealer would do that for me or not, didn’t buy from them and bought used. However this was not an issue until I removed door panel, so I would assume it’s something I caused I just need to figure out what.

Shouldn’t matter if you bought it there or not, if you’re covered by the warranty they should fix it.

So Stew sent out 2 y cables and the long cable from the pillar to the passenger light. Long story short it was the long cable. Once replaced they work perfectly.

Finally getting around to the install tomorrow.
Just need to get the tool to pop the door panels off and we are set.

Idk why I’m so nervous about this. I’ve watched the install video 100 times.

    Wish me luck fam

Once you do it one time, it will be a breeze for the opposite side.

You probably won't need the tools to pop out the door panels. My panels came off with all of the plastic rivets each time.

Just take your time. I found the drives side wire boot was more difficult to remove/install

make sure you remove those white clips and attach them to the panel then reinsert them into your door. Otherwise if you try to put the panels while the white clips are still in the door they will simply fall into your doors!

In the picture in the quote from Meso below, both ends towards the puddles should be inside the mirror (one is a future V5 turn signal wire) and the end that is near the #5 should be what comes through the door. Hope that helps.

It will sit lower because the cable from led puddle light will provide that extra slack coming through the mirror hole.

No you can run all the wires and plug it into the power in the pillar to see if it works before you put back all the door panels

Curious, has anyone installed the luddles with the remote start offered by N2designs? (i know, and others but will stick with him). I am thinking of ordering that unit without cell capability but want to ensure the combo would work smoothly. (my guess is it will but would be a bonus if someone already has this combo).

This is on a 2019 TRD OR Double Cab.
Alright, need some advice here. I've put the driver side puddle pod in. Unfortunately, there is a decent gap on the side closest to the cab. The gap is large enough so that the two clips on that side aren't grabbing like they should. I've attached a few pictures to try and illustrate what's happening:
    IMG_9548.jpg
    IMG_9547.jpg
    IMG_95471.jpg
I've circled the gap with red and the two inner clips in yellow. I can basically just remove that side of the pod with my hand because the clips aren't able to grab enough. Any thoughts on what might be the issue here? As you can see in the first pic, I have the pod set completely flush with the rest of the side mirror body.

I got the same gap, assumed it was just the way it was.

    Many thanks!!

After getting a new Y connector shipped, my puddles work fine and will do the remote start, just have to figure out when.

Did you ever get this figured out? I have a 2019 6MT as well and the puddles only come on when I open the doors (entering and exiting). So they DO NOT come on when I lock or unlock the doors. My dome light does not come on either. Searched in the vehicle customization settings in the LCD/radio menu and found nothing there either. Is this perhaps a MT behavior?

Did anyone get the little screws and washers that hold the lights onto the plastic trim pieces? Do we source those ourselves? If so what size?

Yes you should have small screws to hold the leds in. Just email Stew, with your order #, he should take care of you
