Do they look different than your license plate lights?

Slightly so I’m guessing they are 6k? The puddles look more of a cool white.

Still in stock. Whoever misses out on this round has no more excuses.

X2. I bought a tool like this and it made my life a hundred times easier. I don't know how its possible to fish the cables through without this tool.

MESO just had to release the puddle pods and stage 1's at the same time :annoyed:

Had to choose between both since our couch is really uncomfortable :D

Did go with stage 1's since they are plug and play, chances of getting the time to install puddles are slim right now, so will have to wait till next time.

installed my puddles today, waiting for darkness to admire them. Install easy, just take your time. Used a wide long zip tie with a little oil and it slide right through. Taped the cable to it, oiled and it slipped through easily. Great product, you will not be disappointed.

Well. I aborted my install this evening.

I was waiting until it cooled down a little and set up my work lights, hoping that I could get it done. That still wasn't enough light. I waited because it was just too damned hot out.

I did get the A pillar trim off and I plugged all the wiring together. At least I verified that everything works.

I've had them for almost 3 weeks now and I just haven't had enough time to install them. Maybe tomorrow. Maybe next weekend. It's supposed to be a little cooler next weekend.

    It's complicated.
Installing them will take longer than you think. A lot longer. And much longer than is reasonable.

I managed to get the driver's side puddle installed; and now my front passenger window won't work (the other 3 do) --I didn't mess with the passenger side at all.

And... the built-in feature of the electric windows that lets it roll all the way down or up, if you press it through the 2 or 3 clicks, also doesn't work anymore.

I haven't figured out how get the A pillar back on either--the bulge from the adapter isn't letting the pillar fit correctly. It would be better if the adapter's wires were longer.

Yes I'm complaining. Yes I'm frustrated. Yes, it was an aggravating day.

Let's see how I feel after the install is complete; because so far, it hasn't been worth the hassle.

Finally installed my puddle lights, been sitting on them for several months. Install was pretty simple and ended up taking me around 2.5hrs. Everything seems to be working as it should so far.

Installed mine about a week ago, took about 3 hours, taking my time in the GA heat. No bulge in the A pillar, no drama with windows or locks, everything went as planned. You can't even tell they are installed until they come on and light up the ground. This is my third MESO mod and all three were on point. Keep up the great work MESO!!!!

I plan on about four to five hours. That's why it's been difficult finding the time.

I installed switchbacks in my mirrors and that's about how long it took for them. This is a very similar install. I just don't have to run any wire up through the firewall.

With you windows, you might want to check the wires in the plug. It's possible you pulled one loose. The driver side plug is much easier to deal with if you pull that switch panel off instead of trying to plug or unplug it from behind the whole door panel.

For the bulge in the A pillar, some here have reported that you can push the factory plug down towards the dash. That will make room for the new harness.

Not sure if this is related to what you are describing but check the door panel to make sure you aligned it correctly, if not aligned it will roll down but go up very slowly or not at all. Ask me how I know lol
Or the connections could also be loose

    Thanks.

I checked the wires, numerous times. No joy. The up-side is that the passenger window does roll down using the passenger-side window button; just not from the driver's side. Turns out that the harness in the door handle was glued to the cannon plug--which is why it was ridiculously difficult to remove. But the wires are all seated correctly--and making contact.

I was able to get the harness fitted; I had to transfer the dual harness mount to the MESO harness, and the harness for the lane departure camera.

Couldn't get to the passenger side puddle; too many other things to do.

Thanks for sending the replacement t-cable.. was able to swap it out just before headed out to tuolumne. Camping with those was pretty sweet. Just wish I didn't have to leave the door popped open to keep them on. Thanks again for the great product and even better customer service!!
