Mine has sunroof and I removed the plastic bracket in order to fit the splice harness, there's no way to fit with it.

That can def happen. It can be a major PITA to get the pins to release. I would have given up and done the same in like 10 minutes.

Anyone else having issues with the first generation T-harness not making contact? It's an intermittent problem but every day or so I have to give the inside of the A-pillar a sharp rap to get the domes and puddles to turn on. Not real good when my domes don't come on...

I haven’t had a problem with mine. Although, I didn’t hook up the illumination.

I had this problem prior to the puddle switch.

I don't have that problem. I had soldered the wire in the T harness. My problem is the illumination on the puddle switch is constantly on when the truck/headlights is on or running.

What’s this other plug for? I just taped it up... It is the same female connector that was on the LED; I already have a plan for it but just curious. Even the Y connector I got off the T harness was all black but other people have all the colors. Wondering if I got the mystery box :notsure:

Which fuse did you end up tapping into for 12v?

Stupid word game won't accept MESO as an actual word. Obviously, they don't frequent TW enough or don't own Tacos.

The 5A Panel. I already had an add a fuse on that slot for the illuminating the camera switch that is next to it. I just replaced the add a fuse and crimped in the wire from the camera and puddle light switches into the connector.

I was going to recommend that one. I had my old switch on another one, and it was constantly on. I moved it to the 5A Panel and now illuminates when the lights are on.

How do you like your anytime backup camera? I assume that’s who you bought it from? Are there any other options?

I like it. It's really useful for parking and on the trail. It would be nice if the front camera I got from them was higher resolution though.

The only alternative I know of is from Taco Garage:
