I have MESO’s puddle lights installed and I the domerock v4 for Tacoma 3rd gen. I also just bought MESO’s puddle lights switch. I installed the domerock v4 and MESO’s switch but it’s not working. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I used a wire fisher and Dove dish detergent. I don't think I could have done it without. Slid right through.

All the lights work. Puddle lights work fine like they have for months. No backlight in the switch. When I switch it to on the DISM black box makes a noise but it does not make a noise when I switch it to auto. When I switch it to on no puddle lights but when I then switch it to auto still no puddle lights but the map lights flicker. I have the switch grounded to the negative bar for my switch pro.

If your puddle lights work in auto but not on, you might have a bad ground.

The puddle lights should work on their own separate from the DSIM module.

What do you have the yellow wire that comes out of the DSIM module hooked up to?

The wire should go to the relay for your rock lights or what ever light you have it hooked up to.

My airbag light is on and I can’t seem to reset it. I know that we connect the puddle wires in the side airbag pillar. Does anyone know if that can set it off? I disconnected it and reconnected it. And even disconnected the seat wires. Just wondering if it’s possible the puddle wires could have done it?

Yeah removing the boot completely helped me a great deal. I was having issues using a variety of devices to try and fish the connector through the boot so I didn't use anything at all and "walked" the connector through the boot by feeding it from one end and feeling the connector end as I moved it through the boot. Sort of like an accordion method if that makes sense. It definitely helps to be patient during this process.

Go to the MESO Customs website and sign up for emails when the pods/switch is available. Check your email daily and jump on the purchase right away...don’t hesitate!

I never got a chance to post about the @MESO switch install. It's super easy to do and works perfectly.

Checkout the video below for functionality:

Note: this switch was a prototype used for testing. The current released version is as follows:
    • Top position: MANUAL (turn on anytime)
    • Middle position: OFF
    • Bottom position: AUTO (doors) - (my prototype switch says OFF in this position)
There's enough wire to install it anywhere really on the dash. I chose to install mine in the overhead console near the controls for the map/dome lights. I used a switch panel from @tacitos which has a factory finish. I used a factory blank for the old traction control location. For the ground wire, I used a quick splice connector and the black wire (not black/white) from the traction control button.

Hey guys, quick question. This seems a little short. All the install guides are showing this being much longer. Did I miss something?

Dude, yes... This seems more fuctional to me as rocklights. Im interested to see how well they light the sides of the truck at night and option to turn them on manually

Good news is morimoto is back up at full operation and the project is underway. We have to crease brand new custom molds for the optics and they are assembling the PCB led strips as we speak. Getting close!
