I know the switch will be available again on @MESO soon.

But can someone clarify; I may have read this wrong. But there are 2 versions of the puddle lights now correct? I have the first series/run that he launched way back in June of last year I think it was. That switch says it only works with the v2. Sis I read all that correctly? Or did I misread.

It still works just have to run a separate power to the switch for illumination for the kits that came out in May, first run.

What does the switch do exactly?

If i just want these to run when unlocking the car, do I need the switch?

If I understood correctly; this switch only works with the v2 of the lights correct? I have the very first run of the puddle lights. I honestly didn’t even know there was a v2 so I’ll be sad if it won’t work

    The switch works with both.

The revised t-harness “ V2” is pre wired for illumination, ie plug and play for the switch illumination.

I have the original t-harness and you have to do a slight modification to gain illumination for the switch.

But the switch will most definitely work with the puddle lights.

Received my puddle lights with switch today. I'm off tomorrow so I'm going to install in the morning.
