I don’t think there will be any cutting. I believe it’s going to be all plug and play.

    Thanks for the feedback guys:)
The 3rd gen will require NO cutting. Just pop the OEM lower mirror plastic cap off, and snap the puddle pods in. After that you will just have to route the wire through the door and into the cab. Then plug it into a connector at the A pillar.
For 2nd gens, unfortunately there will have to be cutting at the bottom. I tried every which way to build a "add on top" pod but they all looked out of place and stuck out like a sore thumb. So to get the stealth look and still be functional..the light pod would have to be recessed. And the only way to do that is to cut a clearance hole.(once the light is in you would never know a hole has been made though)
If anyone has any other suggestions, I'm all ears.

Besides adding a shell onto the bed, this is one of the first mods I want to add to the truck. Hope there is enough of them to go around for all us interested folks

Sometimes he does like to test on more stock trucks since his is so modded, I think I remember him saying something about it a while back. But yeah st the end of the day he does have a really nice 3rd Gen.
