Please read all of the post above yours. I said: If all did not work properly after reverting back to stock that you would have to diagnose and fix that before advancing further.

It sounds like there is another problem with your truck. You may have forgotten to disconnect the battery before adding or changing electrical components and caused a problem. Human error. Try disconnecting the battery for 10+ minutes, while the clock ticks... check fuses, switches, etc. Call your dealer and schedule an appointment if you can not find that issue.

AFTER your truck works correctly in stock then reconnect/install the pods. When I installed mine I disconnected the battery and added 1 part then reconnected and tested everything before repeating with the next piece. Yes I am over cautious. I however have pods and lights that all work flawlessly.

    Best of luck!!

@MESO Would you happen to have an extra set of the plastic housings laying around? I got a little experiment I would like to try out with them, and it requires punching a hole through the bottom of them near the puddle lights.

@MESO i just received my order for the puddle switch, but I’m only now seeing it’s intended for the V2 puddles but I have the V1. Is there any way I can make this work, or am I SOL?

Try clicking on mesos left arrow a few pages back. It takes you directly to mesos responses. I know he answered it. It’s the quickest way I can think of. Besides a direct answer lol. It’s the arrow above “multi-quote+“

I did the above option 2. super easy, I used the 5 panel add a fuse, switch back light turns on and off with parking light functions

Do the V1 puddles need that ground? New DSIM v2 T harness is super cheap (I have two as I’ve tinkered with both)

    Yes it does.

Yeah, I've looked at the DSIM harness before and heard good things but never got one, didn't have a need for it.
