The T harness itself looks exactly the same. I don’t own the Dsim module. The harness is sold ala carte. Seems like those options above are more involved than buying a v2 T and sourcing a new ground with a ring terminal.

Oh, my fault, I misunderstood. You still get the ground with MESO's kit so not need to source anything else. It was just the V1 and V2 a pillar harness being a bit different so a different option for backlight illumination. Also the pigtail for V5 turn signals

These coming back anytime soon? I sold my v1’s a while back to get some of the v2’s since I didn’t want to snip anything.

Fitment is excellent, looks OEM. Install wasn’t bad my only issue was fishing the cable through the boot on the driver’s side, I think the 2020 is a little more jammed because of the camera on the mirror.

Even though I’m signed up for the email when these get back in stock I find myself checking the website multiple times daily in hopes that I can snatch a set of these before an email goes out and they are sold out again.

More are in the works. It’s just a slow process because the amount of parts that go into this kit. I have the LEDS made by 1 manufacturer, harnesses made by another, and the injection molded plastic pods made by a 3rd. Getting them all together, then QC, etc takes some time. But bare with me!

This is still one of my favorite discreet mods. No body knows until I turn them on at night.

I actually enjoy the "assembly required" mods as I learn more about the truck, wiring and everything that way!

It’s a great feeling to fire it up and see it working when you’ve done it yourself too! The only issue is that it’s addicting :anonymous:

I hear ya I just got some meso product and love the quality of it and can’t wait to order these. I missed the last ones by a few hours, so I do the same thing as you, to the point that my boss would be pissed but i can’t miss them this time or my wife’s going to hate living with me

I was just thinking, an ambient light sensor could be slick here for auto mode.

Any chance someone has the pins for the switch? I’m thinking of using dimmed ground since I already have that tapped in the DSIM T harness thanks to @Puppypunter and his crimping skills. I’ll do some reading in case it’s already been posted in this thread.

As a follow-up to this excellent plan, I'm mid-flight on a minor variant of this mod thanks to @Puppypunter and his guidance.
I'm leaving the main harness as-is, no need to mess with it.
I'm swapping the illumination PWM - ground to a new lead which is much longer, soldered to a resistor, which is then soldered to a jst feeding into my 2 pin system of switch illumination fed from a modification to the DSIM T tap.
The second ground simply gets extended longer so that I can bundle it with the main harness and use braided sheathing so it's one coherent whole. I'm waiting on 20 gauge ring terminals as I never expected I'd need any that small.
