I’ll try to take a closer look tomorrow. I have a bunch of the JST connectors and terminals but my sausage fingers get cranky with the small stuff. Hit me with your info via DM and let me know if you already ran through the firewall? You can be the pioneer.

Note that this only saves someone from having to run two wires through the door boot, one for puddles and one for v5’s.

I haven’t run into the cab yet it’s coiled by the battery right now. My puddles aren’t supposed to get here until Monday so I plan to work it next weekend. I’ll send you a DM.

So if we have the footwell lights already we would just have to connect it with the splitter? Also the v5s I have currently wired to the harness in the door, I could just plug that into the puddle pod harness instead? I researched before but that was awhile. Thanks!

So will use 2 splitters then? One for the footwell lights and the other for meso pods. I guess i can undo the wire tap from the doors since I can plug the v5s in the pods now.

Got the pods installed. Took way longer than I anticipated, mostly the final part of trying to get the A-pillar connectors situated right so the cover will fit and getting the final leads fished through the dash and connected. At the end though I'm super satisfied and love the look they give. Worth it.

That was quick! No pics?? Lol

Did you end up just pulling the grommets/pass trough things through the door and unhooking those connectors?

Haha I didn't take pictures since I just got done at 9 eastern and my finger tips are now sore from pushing the wires through everything and pulling connectors apart lol.

i did unplug the factory connectors from the footwell on both the passenger and drivers side, gave a great amount of slack. I pulled both ends of the rubber boot out from the door and body which made it easier to squish it together and push the puddle harness through. I worked my way from the mirrors up to the A-pillar which is where I finished.

Might try to get these done tomorrow, I'm going to start with the A-pillar since you're supposed to test them first anyway.

Got mine in today. Too me a long time, like 5 to 6 hours I think. Most of the time was those damn boots. A couple quick pics on the ferry for now. Not quite dark enough for a glory shot yet. Glad I snagged them when I got the email, but not sure I’d like to go through that again.

I’m reading a lot you struggling with passing cable through the grommet.

I have not received my pods let alone my truck. However, any time I’ve had to pass cable through a grommet are used a large zip tie with one end of the wire taped with electrical tape and push the zip tie through and pull from the other end

it’s got to be one of the 12” or larger zip ties to work well.

usually it’s an easy enough thing to do but for some reason, I found it much harder on the truck. I tried but I’m not sure if it was just getting stuck in there or the tape on there is too tight for the zip tie but I tried for a while when I did the mirror turn signals. Could have also just been me but I’ll remove the few connectors and pop those out of the cab side, retape then pass it all back through.
