I'm split on using my SP or using your switch. I got a stealth shift knob kit from @oostroma and it seems that the OEM ECT button will be useless after install. I think I'll go with your switch because I would hate to have a blank or a button that doesn't work.
:fingerscrossed: Hoping your switches drop soon!

Using my dedicated puddle switch you will have 3 positions of control (ON-OFF-AUTO) if using a switchpro you will only have 2; manually on or Auto. You could technically add more relays but the wiring gets complicated.
2021+ OEM led connectors have been a pain to source in bulk(and good quality) so v5 PNP for OEM LED are TBD.

Done with the install, took just over two hours. The hardest part was going through the driver door boot, but didn't find anything else that tedious. It helped that I had already made the connection for the footwell lights, and just had to add the splitter.

We are getting off topic I fear.

The factory front speakers use a 4 position connector at the tweeter which I assume sends low pass to the mid in the door. So you need to tap the full range signal and send to a crossover then to your final speakers.

The rear doors are full range and if replacing with coaxial full range speakers, that’s where the adapter actually helps avoid running extra wire.

I bought two pair of these adapters to check them out so I can send you one pair if you want. I would run speaker wire through the front door boots, that’s what I did on my truck. Then crossover likely in the kick panel though I’m still debating that as my kicks are pretty stuffed.

Thanks! I got myself on the list. Thats what I did without the "lubrication". I used a fish tape/cord and massage it while pulling the cable harness thru like a "sausage casing"...:D

The splitter from the puddle lights is in the door. So no extra pulling/routing should be necessary through the boot.

Just got mine in today. High quality looking product. I’m also going to order footwell lights that don’t suck and it sounds like the consensus is to do them both at the same time? Any truth to this?

They both need access to the IN1 connector that is behind the driver's sail panel.

So, the V5's will be PnP? I thought I'll need the DRL and T-Harness connected?
All I need to do is plug in the V5 white/red (high/low) connector to the Puddle pigtail splitter? And the turn signal connector as well...

Hey guys, I just installed my puddle pods and found that I keep blowing the ECU-IG No2 fuse. I narrowed it down to the fuse only blows when I have the new T harness installed.

I can give more details, but wondering if anyone else had this problem?

I have a 2022 TRD OR DCLB and have had no issues with anything electrical prior to installing the puddle pods. Yesterday I installed the puddle pods without issue and tested for power at every step of the way to make sure no wires were getting pinched and to ensure the VLED connectors were connected. the puddle lights were working at one point just as intended - slow fade on when approaching and turning off after dome light time-out.

Something to note - I have been using the OEM certified LED illumination puddle light kit that includes the 4 exterior LEDs as well as the 2 interior footwell LEDs that tie into the illumination circuit in the A pillar as well as the driver side kick panel. See here for the install doc for the LED illumination kit I have installed - ( http://toyotaparts.sparkstoyota.com/install/00016-00069-2021-tacoma.pdf ).

This kit taps into the blue and yellow wires in the harness at the A pillar and thought this could be a problem with maybe overloading the circuit when using both the illumination kit and the puddle pods together. but I had both the puddle lights, puddle pods, and footwell lights working together when testing everything before I started the truck.

With the new T harness connected and everything wired up I went to start the truck for final testing and noticed the lights on the dash for lane departure warning, pre collision system, TPMS, as well as the HVAC/blower was not turning on or responding. After inspection I found that the 7.5a fuse under the dash labeled ECU-IGN NO2 was blown. After several rounds of testing and blowing more fuses with and without the other illumination kit connected, I have determined the fuse ONLY blows when the new T harness is connected.

What could be causing the blown fuse? Thanks in advance.
