Ok, did I miss something? Is there an issue with v1 pods and the switch? I ordered the switch and honestly didn’t read details…

ok, I’ll have to check which version I have… what is the difference internally? Change in wires? Diode? ???

It's stated on meso's site they only work with the v2 puddle pods that has the colored wires. The black wires are v1s

Yep, just saw that. Wondering what the change is. I’m very adept at wiring, so I could easily make the necessary changes. I honestly don’t recall the version # but I’ve had them plenty long enough. My concern comes from knowing I got the MESO/DSIM unit and that is likely v1.

With the vled footwell lights and puddle plug in. V1 work really well and no splicing

I did that with the interior lights on my camper shell, but with film lighting cels, worked good but looking for something where i can bounce back and forth between the red and white easier
Looks nice! But i'd like to have both options with an easy way to flip between.

Glad to here they are working together. I have both as well and will be installing once the switch shows up

Anyone know how many extra watts these two extra features (puddle pods and vled footwell lights) pull from the truck? Im always concerned about over loading the alternator

Got back from vacation and got my switch installed fairly easily overhead. The only hiccups I ran into were:

    1) I hooked the switch up to the footwell lights first accidentally. Once I figured out what I did, it was an easy swap.
    2) The switch does not stay in place via the side pressure clips. Hopefully it doesn't fall out while I'm driving.

Which spot did you install the switch?

I did mine in the ECT spot and fitment is perfect.

In MESO's 3D printed overhead switch panel. It's a friction fit, but can be pushed out from behind easily and doesn't click into place.

I'll have to mess around with it further.

Is there a good ground up there? I wanted to place my switch in the overhead too. I got a 3d printed one from etsy

I used a very short carriage bolt/washer/nut on the piece of metal that hangs down a bit. Seems to be working fine, just don't pick a hole that is used by the console to fasten into.

I got home tonight and noticed that my puddle pods were on very dim on my truck that hasn't been driven all day. The only way I was able to tell is because my garage light is out. didn't get a pic of them, after I opened my door they turned off like normal. Has anyone else seen this before?

Installed @MESO puddle pods switch kit. I thought it will fit in one of the blanks next to the auto high beam switch. Also reflashed the idatalink maestro module to the latest firmware while I had the switch panels off.

I'm hoping the puddle switch works on my Meso panel in the overhead. I already have to trim it because it jams the sunroof switches as seen here. Custom Switch Panels. Maybe it needs an edit and an update.

Anyone on here have a Puddle Switch kit they are looking to sell? I missed the last drop of Switches.

Also, does anyone know when the next batch of switches will be made available? Perhaps @MESO might be able to provide some info.
