Hi all, I get the V5 and puddles are not fully plug and play...Guessing all I Have to do now is join the red and white pigtail to the Black pigtail . Last question would be ... Does the white plug into the back wire with white dashes or the black with lettering? Cheers :)

Took me a bit to figure out why that looks so familiar. I forgot it was my pic that you originally edited like that to help me and that is my kitchen counter the wires are sitting on.

Alright guys, i got to troubleshooting again and stocked up on those pesky micro 7.5amp fuses and determined that it is the right puddle light when connected into the Y-splitter into the T-harness that continues to blow out the ECU-IGNO 2 fuse underneath the steering column whenever I have everything connected and turn the truck on. I checked both ends of the wire harness and found no crossed wires, no kinks, snips or breaks from point A (Right passenger side) under and over to point B (wire harness where it connects to the Y splitter into T-harness onto the A-pillar). Im not sure why but that is the case, my eyes are not trained to see electrical wiring irregularities but maybe you guys see something that I don't?

Here are some pictures to help describe what I am seeing.
First & Second: Passenger side connection to Side view mirror
Third and Fourth: Disconnected Harness at A Pillar, where it meets Y splitter
Fifth: Wire harness running through door jam gromet, location behind the speaker housing
Sixth: Wire harness running though door jam gromet, location past door jam within the cab

At this point, Stew and Travis over at MESO have both been huge help as they have been patient and helpful by sending me a replacement T harness and Y splitter when I thought it was those that were the issue. It might be the passenger side harness at the harness itself no?

If you have a multimeter then I'd say check continuity from the + of the harness (wire connected to the ECU IG NO2 fuse) to chassis ground. You likely have a short and usually it's by the side mirror. I was able to tell the bolts used to hold the side mirror in place were crushing one of my wires because I was unable to push and pull any extra wire through.

Good looking out bro. Recommend any good brand multimeter? I’ll have to teach myself not to pop a fuse, as I hear from other rookies that seems to be the case when trying to test for continuity lol

I mean, good would be fluke, but they're pricey. Any cheap one will do just fine, but try to get some that can take a wide range of probes so you can use it in more places.

Yeah, flukes are nice but I haven't ponied up for one. Any new one will be awesome these days. I have one from 25 years ago which is analog and kind of fun. If it doesn't have a continuity tester then I'd be amazed, usually makes a buzz or ping when low enough resistance is detected meaning a decent connection. You can also just measure resistance in ohms directly. Don't need power on to do this, just the battery in the multimeter.

I've seen harness nicked at door boot area. Need to look closely at the cable run.

I’m going to have to pull the wire from the a pillar area all the way back to the passenger door boot/jam to verify this up close. The ends don’t seem to be nicked but it may very well be possible that somewhere in between there might as I only checked the drivers side recently.

Hate to bore everyone here whom have already helped me out sort my puddle pods issues, but at last I have found the issue. I began to pull everything out in order to get a good look at every inch of wire and connectors associated with the Meso puddle pods, and when I got to the driver side LED, low and behold my issue.
The wire between the side view mirror and the pod had shorted out, causing my ECU-IGNO2 fuse to blow time and time again. Luckily Travis’s and Stu, over at Meso Customs were kind enough to send me replacement parts!

My guess is maybe snagged when re-mounting the side mirror?

Not sure but maybe what daveesaa said could be plausible. The wire that shorted was the one that Meso includes in his Puddle Pods V2 version for the V5 switchback turn signals. I currently have Mesos V4 that don’t require it, so it was unused this whole time.
