Do they come on when the door is opened?

They come on when door is opened or unlocked. If you have the proximity sensor they will come on as you approach vehicle.

I think there are more trucks that have proximity sensors because I know mine has it and I do not have the tech package. It’s a really nice feature to have. Once you have it, you don’t want to be without it either.

In as well. My Rebel has mirror “puddle” lights and these would be perfect on my Taco.

Some of the 4runners already have puddle lights. BUT... if yours are considerably brighter, I bet you could up-sell a lot of puddle lights. I'd be in for sure!

Suggestion- for those T4R's that already have puddle lights, could you wire the MESO upgrade with a 194 connector so they could simply be plugged into the existing socket?

Lots of T4R folks might be afraid of doing electrical work. If you implement a plug and play solution, I bet you'd sell a lot more.

Is Meso's puddle lights only for 4Runners or will they be for both 4Runners and Tacomas?

As always with MESO product I’m sure it’s gonna have pristine build quality, fit, and function. That being said my pay pal is itching and ready to order

Tacoma’s are his love/1st order of business. His wife has a 4Runner, so he mods those as well. Expect to see both, but which appears first depends on complexity, production capacity.

Did you motorized your Tacoma's mirrors?
What motor, and do you have a write up for it?
Been a wanting to motorize my mirrors, but have not found a solid installation guide for it.
Only ones I have found are using a RAV4's mirrors.
