    Nah I've decided to do them myself there will be no suffering and they will have a independent switch and everything will only cost me 50 bucks and I bet at the end if the day they will look great and function identical and ill retain my factory plates with the wind groves and I will cleanly modify them so the pod sits flush and looks oem...rather than a flat piece without the groves....

    and don't get me wrong I would rather just fork out 190 for the kit if I didn't read this1 horror story thread, infact I feel bad for Meso if it wasn't even product

    What type of issues? Issues with the lock or issues with the lock + the puddle lights? I have the R4T kit installed for 2 years with no issues but want to get some of the puddle lights when they are back in stock. TIA

    I actually don’t remember what exactly the problem they were having…I have the puddle pods, R4T Tailgate Lock, Vleds footwell lights and V5 switchbacks and haven’t had any problems with them in 2 years. My only advice to anyone who is looking to do the install is to do it all at once when everything is opened up. Makes life a lot easier!
