Does anyone know why after I installed the meso puddle pods, my dome lights and even the puddle pods won’t shut off? They stay on even after the truck is off. I disconnected the pods and put it as it was and now dome lights work fine. So it seems it only causes that when I connect the pods to the A Pilar

Are you by the truck with the remote? Mine are set so they turn on when I am by the truck. They won’t turn off unless I what seems like forever or my key somewhere else far away.

I live far out and dont shut off. But the thing is that it makes mi dome lights stay on even when driving. They are on the door position. The dome lights will only shut off if I put them on off. But pods will still remain on

They are just connected with a harness to a factory harness which is what powers them in I believe.

Oh that’s weird. If you are using the plug and play wiring and followed the instructions maybe something is wired wrong in the kit? It’s been a while but that kit seemed pretty easy to install.

I just went through a few issues others were having (one I am glad I never saw) and there was more than one mention about wires being pinched during the reassembly and causing some issues.

OP - maybe check for any pinched wires?

It is easy. The hardest thing is just to fish the wires through the other wires. But besides that it’s plug and play. I’ve been stressed out about it so rn I just left them off and connected the oem wire normal until I figure out what’s happening

What’s weird it’s that when it’s connected it makes my dome stay on at all time. Maybe it came faulty from factory or something idk

I don’t. A friend will check it out tomorrow. He knows electric stuff so hopefully we are able to find out the issue. I did also send an email to the manufacturer so will also see what they say about it.
