Just finished installing my stage 1 tails.:D

I didn't need to use the resistors. I'm running deAutoLED front turns and sidemarkers, as well as their license plate LEDs and Interior LEDs and MESO mirror turn LEDs. Low/highs and fogs are halogens. I did notice my deAutoLED sidemarkers were burnt out though. Not sure what caused it to burn out or how long it had been that way for. I only noticed it because I was checking all my lights after installing the MESO tails.

Is there any reason to not install the resistors? With so many leaving them out, I am wondering why not just install the resistors if they are included? May just be personal preference.

I include them just in case you do need them. If your truck works fine without them, leave them off.

Your blinkers will not work if you don’t need them and have them installed. Test with the car running without the resistors and then add if you have a hyper flash or no blinking at all.

Oh no the dreaded hyper flash, I have an 18 SR5 and only thing added light wise are the amber grille lights so far. So had to install resistors and so far so good. Can’t wait til dark to see how bright they are

I'm running @MESO stage 1 tails w/ resistors + his V4 side markers and JDMAstar LED front turn signals. No hyper flashing at all if that helps anyone

If your truck doesn't have ANY aftermarket Turn signal bulbs, or resistors, you will likely have to install the resistors included in the kit.
If you have my mirror turn signals, or any other aftermarket front/rear turn signal LEDS, you will probably not need to install them. But always check function before reassembly.

Whatever Grill lights, Fog lights, Low beam, Highbeam, etc you have HAVE NO AFFECT on this kit.

Yeah I may have to remove them after I install your ultimate turn signals. Just haven’t got to them yet

Stage 2 is worth every penny! And the cutting for the Triton adapter isn’t bad at all I used a soldering iron. Good luck To those trying to snag a set!
