I honestly haven’t reviewed the install yet. What all needs done for the modification on the s2? I thought it was a plug and play replacement from what I was reading. I’m not very good with electrical so I may need to have someone handle that lmao

No electrical modification is needed. The larger switchback turn signal and reverse light bulb does not fit in the tiny stock opening of the tail light housing, however. You need to cut the "tabs" out of the housing and glue in the supplied adapter to accept the larger bulb.

Oh that’s a little simpler then. Thanks for heads up. I do see now what you mean by the shavings and getting stuck. I’ll be sure to look for that. If I can’t get my hands on the full retro fit then I may just grab the s2 when available and then do a light smoke wrap on my lights to help cut down the red some.

    Welcome to TW!

To be honest, getting a set of retrofitted lights is like winning the lottery. If you read the posts on how hard it is getting a set of S1 or S2 total tail harness kits, these are easy to get compared to the retrofitted lights. They are hand made and takes weeks to build. The VERY FEW i have seen released are gone in seconds and that was a long time ago. Your best bet is to try to get your hands on the total tails harness and hopefully before you sell your truck, you may, but unlikely get a set of retrofitted tails. Oh, and be prepared to pay whatever the asking price is, These are highly sought after so they will fetch a premium. Just didnt want you to get your hopes up and be realistic, as I have found myself accepting. Good luck though if you should be the lucky one to get a set! There are a few “lottery” winners on here!

I will for sure. Love videos. This is my first truck build. I’ve built on 3 cars now over the last 7 years. So at least I have some sort of practice to an extent

Yea I’m catching onto that. And I’m prepares for the premium for sure! Always willing to pay for quality. Got my keyboard fingers ready. Thanks for all the details though.

Good to know the stage 1s might be restocked next week! By the time I got the email last time they were sold out. Can’t wait to get my hands on this kit and get it installed!

Installed the stage two’s , using a soldering gun was messy. Step drill would have been a better choice. They definitely live up to the hype! No Hyperflash and super bright ambers, thanks @MESO!
