Noob question but if i have a stage 1 kit with the resistor and i get a V6 Triton amber front turn will i need the resistor with that as well? I believe someone said no because its on the same circuit in a previous post but i know very little about this stuff and just wanted to confirm lol. Also, it will save me 30 bucks if i don't need it

    Thanks!

One resistor per circuit, put them in the fronts OR backs, not both. Use the ones that came with the MESO tail kit and you won't need them up front.

    Funny guy.
I was actually behind a new ranger last night, and they had a full LED horse shoe, and a bright amber turn right in the middle. Guess Ford got something right..

After much debate between buying Stage 1 or Stage 2, I installed Stage 2 tails today. I am not mechanically inclined and was apprehensive about cutting my tail lights. I used a hot knife and took my time. It was easy and not nearly as bad as I had made it out to be in my head. The whole install was very straight forward. Very happy that i went this route.

Thanks for a great product! @MESO

Got my stage 2 in and installed last night! I did the step bit method because I didn’t feel like running up to harbor freight for a hot knife. I would advise anyone doing this mod to not use the step bit. I did drill it upside down so shavings would fall out but I still have a bunch of black shavings stuck inside the tail light. Not a big deal was my own fault for being lazy, just passing the info along! As far as the stage 2, I’m blown away! One of my most favorite mods to date! Thank you meso!

Thanks guys glad you like them!! It really is a painless mod, just takes a little guts to modify the light socket hole. But the results are totally worth it:D When you can see your rear turn signals reflecting off objects behind you in the mirror... you can guarantee the driver behind you will pay attention now:)

I still can’t get over how bright they are!

Here’s a view from the rear camera... And a shot from the front show how bright the amber rear turns are!

So glad to be rid of those dim, half horseshoe, red turns! Thanks for creating these @MESO!!!! \m/ \m/

Used a solder knife thingamajig... Dremel grinding barrel, and blew out the chunks and dust with my compressor with a long needle gun...

I'm also regulating my spending because if the 4th gen tacoma continues coming in a manual, I'm upgrading! I don't need to spend *too* much on mods for the next guy ;)
