    The new production made switchbacks will be on par with the current stage 1 bulbs. The amber(turn) May have a little more output.

    I wouldn’t be opposed to this idea since the kit has been proven and everything ironed out. I’m just waiting for the final assembly new bulbs at this point. The new stage 1 however will be a few bucks more because of the new VLED switchback. But worth it IMO for a factory sealed and custom made(for this truck) LED.

    Will there be an option for people with original Stage 1 to upgrade to the new Stage 1?

    I would like to know this too. Would like to have spare set of bulbs in case one goes out. Right now we don’t have an opinion if one goes out

    Yes the new bulb will work with preexistng kits. They will also be for sale by themselves for people that want to upgrade or have spare replacements :)

    Yes, I use the ultrasonic knife for cutting open tails now. Much cleaner, and you loose much less material so when reassembling they almost fit together like nothing was ever modified.

    What are these new bulbs for the stage 1 kits? What's the difference between the new bulbs and what came with the kits originaly?

    He said they will be vled. They are much higher quality and much brighter. Absolutely the best type of LED imo

    The switchbacks included in my stage 1's now are a combination of a few things that I have to assemble manually;
    raw LED bulb + my own 3d printed socket adapter + soldering connection ends on. It works and is proven, but it takes me a long time to assemble. Also the fit and finish isn't quite "OEM production" level. Since I have now paired with VLEDs, we have opened up a tool mold and the new bulbs will be over molded with the socket and harness all in one. (there's some prototype pics somewhere on previous pages)
    This will cut down my assembly time dramatically, while being able to stock more lights for customers:D

    I see that vendor badge :hattip:

    Can the mods move your FS threads to your vendor page so they can be located easier? That way we can all miss drops in one location :rofl:

    Yup that’s it. The led layout has changed a little( 50/50 white and amber) but overall that’s the new bulb
