MESO Total Tail Light Kit

Darn. Few minutes late, but I am too @fflo81615 .

 

Got these led amber for the headlights to synchronize (stock Incandescent bulbs lags a bit compared to led) the blinking of the v4 and stage 1 kits.

 

Those look very similar to what I used.

They are the same just sold under a different name. So far I like them, very bright.

 

Installed my stage 1s just now!
Will get some night shots later, going to a local trail tonight

 

Just picked up a pair of VLed V6 Triton Amber bulbs and a set of resistors to pair up with my Stage 2 kit!

 

Installed the stage 2 kit in less than 1 hour. Very straight forward install. Very easy with exception of cutting & enlarging the existing hole for the reverse light bulb which is not difficult with the right tools (most of the time was spent vacuuming out the plastic shavings in the lens assembly).

Both the increased light output and new configuration of the directionals and addition of "full horseshoe" for the brake light makes the kit well worth the money. Well done once again MESO!

 

Hate to be that guy... But any ETA on the next Stage 1 drop?

With all the work you are doing and a small amount of errors seems pretty good to me.

@MESO Odd issue with my drivers side uppermost tail light. It works with the standard running lights, but does not light up with the brake. I feel like it may be a wiring issue since the lights work, just not with the brake. Thanks ahead of time!

 

swap the bulbs, just to validate it isn't a contact on the bulb. If not, it's a connector/wire in the harness. disconnect that one and make sure no bent pins/etc. I'm sure @MESO will trade it out if it doesn't seem obvious from those quick checks.

swap ththe bulb from top to bottom and recheck.
If problem still occurs it is in the T harness.
If solved, it’s the high mode of the LED bulb.
Whichever it is I will get it swapped out just PM me with results and order #.
