    Alright. Soldering iron is just making a melted plastic mess. Gonna go step drill method.

    Ok so my Taco doesnt like TTL kit. Just tried to install and heres what happened.

    *background- Truck has VLED amber turns upfront and no resistors (werent required after install) Also vled dome and maps.


    Installed passenger side first without load resistor. All lights (turn and hazard) operated good except hyper flashed - tested also with truck on and off and still needed so I installed load resistor.
    Flash fixed. Thought driver side was going to be a cake walk....

    Moved to driver side. Installed first without resistor, hyperflashed so installed. Tested with truck on and off.
    Screen on head unit started flashing with reverse camara view. same thing when hazards are on....bazerk head unit.

    Shut truck off and tried resistor on just driver side and just passenger. Hyper flash no matter what side the resistor was on- but the head unit flickering stopped once I moved resistor to driver side.

    My thoughts are to install resistors I got for the VLED turns first and then try again all of the above?:bananadead:

    I checked connections and everything seemed clicked into place.

    So I had to install resistors on my LED front turn signals too and all is well now @stealthmode

    That is weird. I have the TTL Stage 2 kit with VLED amber front signals and have no issues at all. I do have the MESO Ultimate Mirror turn signals (V4) so maybe that fixes it?

    Sorry man. That is frustrating and I hope you get it resolved.

    Got them all hooked up. Driver side tail works. Passenger tail brakes work but nothing works with the switchback and when I flip the turn signal on that side the front hyperflashes. Halp? @MESO

    I’ve got V2 turns, puddles, and stage 2 tails. Weird thing is that the only issue I have is with one of the Tritons not working.

    I’ve got the same setup except V3 turns. No problems. Did you check your passenger side connection—unplug look at pins and plug back in?
    Another way to check is swap the triton from one side to the other and see if the problem follows.

    I did unplug everything and ensure it was all seated correctly. Gonna swap the tritons tomorrow morning and see if that’s the issue.

    Sounds good. Seems like you got it narrowed down.
    It’s either the switchback Triton or the passenger side wiring harness leading to the switchback.:thumbsup:
    Definitely not a resistor needed.

    Yup def not a resistor. I’m in talks with him to get it pinpointed. Either a bad bulb or wires are swapped on harness.

    My stage 2 leds went in with no problem. I did use JB Weld clear epoxy to fasten the adapter. I did have to add the VLed resistors up front when I added the V6 Tritons up front. I used the recommended resistors from VLed when I did this and have not had any issues.

    Good idea. That’s what I used.
    I had the other stuff, and it will probably work. But didn’t want to chance it with plastic.
