MESO Total Tail Light Kit

2 per side? Oh man, I removed 3. Operator error. I'll miss those lost minutes.

 

It’s not that hard to remove them again. I’ve done it several times. Put them on and see how you like them. Took me a bit to get used to the outer clear lenses but I like the black.

 

Even with alerts I fear I'm gonna miss the restock when it arrives. Every day is like Black Friday on the store, haha. I can see it now, MESO gonna be sitting at his computer posting the restock and then this:

 

I don't like how quiet this thread has been lately.

Last Stage 1 drop was May 31st.
Last Stage 2 drop was June 6th.

 

Eh, I can understand. Takes time to make all those harnesses and connections, order all the plugs, bulbs, resistors, etc. MESO will update when he gets things rolling.

More important that his quality stays the same. I imagine many harnesses being bench tested takes quite some time...

 

Moral of the story is, his stuff is awesome. Completely functional, unique to most competitors and always an adequate response away. I have the stage 2’s installed which I love on top of many others of his offerings. Excited to see his own “1.75” or “1.5” edition for everyone.. And can’t phantom what his mind will think of in even the next year or two.

Sorry for the lack of update. I have all harnesses done and in testing. New stage 1 bulbs are in production and should be done early-mid aug. Plan is to get some stage 2’s out when I Return back to the states.(since they are already made, just need to order them from VLED) then the stage 1’s after.

 

And when do you return?

MESO, can you return the tail lights to the stock bulbs after doing the stage 2 cut on the reverse lights? I am considering trading in my 2017 for a 2020.

 

Considering you enlarge the hole and add a new adapter I would say no. Best bet is find a set of take offs or Ebay lights. Maybe swap out the lights with the new truck as a part of the trade?

 

Get a used set to replace.

 

Sell for cash+tails from buyer.

 

Update: Stage 1 bulbs are in production, but more than likely later this month on release. I will be doing another run of Stage 2's in the upcoming week (so hopefully hold you guys over!).
Here is a final sample to get an idea. I will also be updating the Red brake bulbs in that kit for a little more output. So the new Stage 1 will be a huge improvement over the first version.

P.S I've been talking with VLED's and they are coming out with an EXTREME Triton V6 switchback. I will probably revise Stage 2 with that new bulb once they come out. So overall, Stage 1 and 2 will both get a boost in output

After modifying to stage 2, unfortunately there is no going back.

 

@MESO i was buying some vanity lights off vled last night and seen the extreme tritons.

Is the triton extreme switchback for v2 something we can buy from them or is it special to you? I was also wondering if the red extremes would really give a substantial increase for the current v2 offerings. Yes I know the price is high but leaving that out what do you think? According to the lumens listed it seems like a huge upgrade

 

Yes it will be the same extreme V6 VLEDS will sell. Right now they only have a single color, but a SwitchBack is in the pipeline.
Red extremes would be a much higher output that the current Stage 2 bulbs. I just didn't know if people would want to spend that much for 4 of them in the Stage 2 kit. I have been tossing the idea around of a STAGE 3 which would include all Tritons (2 reverse/turn, 4 7443 red) it would be BRIGHT.

I’m glad you didn’t because then I’d want the extremes over the regular tritons. I just bought the ambers for the front a couple months back and now thinking of going brighter all around
