I was waiting for stage 1 for ever then missed the last sale by like 25 mins.

Am I to understand they’re being improved upon?

I’d really like to score some!

I have the ultimate turn signals (which went on sale like 2 weeks after I bought them :bananadance:) and they’re top notch.

Someone asked for pictures? This is just an example of how I did mine. Sorry, so picture heavy! Please, there are much better ways to do this. It's up to you! Stew's instillation video can be found here.

Has anyone seen a projected drop date for the flip key? I see it’s listed on the site now as sold out, so it must be coming soonish.

One piece of advice I’ve learned the hard way when modding the reverse light hole for the stage 2’s...do not ever use compressed air to blow the junk out of the hole. I used a step drill with the light upside down, and noticed a couple of plastic chips inside. I think there was a rather large buildup just around the hole that I didn’t see, and when I turned it back over all the trash went everywhere in the light. Spent the next hours shaking and tapping, and never did get it all out. It won’t likely be noticed by anyone but me, but damn. Be careful, and don’t make chips when doing this.

So, I don't have a nice little ultrasonic knife. I've got an exacto, a dremel, and a soldering iron. The dremel's probably out because of shavings. Will the exacto knife take forever to trim the hole out to size? It's probably a really bad idea to use the soldering iron to melt the plastic along the edge to make the hole bigger, right?

I looked into an ultrasonic knife. A cheap one is well north of $300, so that’s out. If I had to do it again, I’d probably use both an exacto knife and a soldering iron.

Huh, I don't know why I never thought of a knife tip for a soldering iron. It really makes perfect sense (and will probably finish up a LOT cleaner than just pushing the soldering tip through the plastic). Ultrasonic knife, nice as it'd be, yeah I need that money to spend on more meso products, haha

A step drill bit is a few bucks. Just give it a good vacuum.

I had a tiny sharp point dremel bit that I used to probe around the edge to break the seal/soften the plastic. Then, I used a hot razor/utility knife to melt through the plastic. It may not be the best way, but it worked and I didn't get any shavings in the light. I like the vacuum idea! GL!

Thats exactly what I did. Even drilled the light with the hole facing down. Still ended up with chips in the lights. Probably wouldn’t even be noticeable with the OEM TRD OR lights that came in my truck. However, I could see every single chip in the TRD Pro Tails. It’s gonna drive me nuts.

I’m really hoping they’ll all settle to the bottom in a week or 3.
