This forum needs a rule forbidding posts telling people how to run their business.. Such posts just waste space and interupt the flow of information most people are looking for.

I had a little bit of issue getting the reverse to lock, but just gently used a pair of pliers to make the turn. It locked just fine.

Finally installed my stage 1 today.

Getting the stock reverse bulb holder out of the stock harness was a pain in the ass. I got the clip started with my fingers and used a flat head screw driver on the other end to lift it up completely and then I was pulled out the holder with ease.

I ended up using an adjustable wrench to get the new reverse bulb into the tail light, worked like a charm.

These bulbs are really bright and it's function is perfect. This is how it should've came from the factory. Worth the money and wait.

I know exactly what you are talking about. The stock reverse plug/latch is WAY harder than the brake & turn socket. Sometimes I can release them with my fingers..but most of the time I need a flat head. Glad you like it!

    Brighter the better.
I got rear ended by 2 girls. 1 texting and other oblivious to her surroundings.
Luckily it was my work truck . I think I'll end up on the 6pm news if someone rear ended my new truck.

The best is watching people driving a 3rd Gen Tacoma in the rear view mirror while switching lanes with my blinker on. They look confused as fuck! Love it! Hahaha just like my Mirror DRLs I get so much attention that I had to re wire it and so I can control it to turn on instead of it running all the time when the truck is on the road.

I would happily pay for a stage 1 kit up front to guarantee I get 1 on the next release.

Stew, if you ever get bummed or stressed or irritated, just remember these are all good problems to have. All of it is good, even the negative stuff some people might spout off, they're just impatient cause they want your stuff. So don't trip if u stumble upon an annoying post . Patiently awaiting the S2 tails. I'll fire up the Sony A7III when they come in and give ya some good photos for the webpage.

Same, had my truck at the dealer for 10k mile check up, and one of the mechs started asking around if was a new package option.
So many other 3rd gens do a double take on these switchback mirror turn signals, then proceed to get blinded on the second look.

Tacomas should've kept the yellow blinkers.
When braking and turn signal on , it gets washed out between 2 bulbs. Was waiting on Stew's tail light but this kit is next best thing.

Installed mine today and I initially had the same problem on the driver’s side. The bottom half of the c wasn’t coming on when braking. I pulled the bulb and the contacts looked a little flat and bent so I lifted it up a little and straightened it out. Seems to be working fine now. That either fixed it or it’s intermittent. I guess I’ll see if it goes out again. Love this mod! Looks awesome!!...

MESO will have the final say, but I think the issue is in the terminal of the harness for the lower brake light. There is one pin with two wires crimped in from the back. My guess is one of those wires is making poor contact.

Like I said, great product and service. MESO will make it right if you have issues.
