I tested my truck again this morning. I have the v3 ultimates in my mirrors, stock blinkers up front, and the original S1 Total Tails. There are no resisters added to the flash circuit on my truck other than anything @MESO built in (only the mirror blinkers have any resisters I think). My truck has zero hyper flashing in any lighting mode including reverse.

It's very truck specific so nobody is going to be able to tell if you're gonna get hyperflashing until the install is complete and you test it. MESO has been collecting data from a few of us who claim to have gotten it so he can try to pinpoint the specifics on who it might effect and who it wont. With that being said, hyperflashing isn't a major problem and can be remedied easily by contacting MESO directly and telling him, he will take care of you and get everything working 100%. Easy solution that should not deter you from buying such a quality product, you won't be disappointed!

Again, hyperflashing is truck specific. Some folks need the resistors, some don't.

Mine hyper flash when in reverse and doing left or right signal. Reverse and hazard does not hyper flash. Not a problem on my end i dont use signal while backing up. One bulb 2 light color so it will happen

All PM's replied. Resistors sent out to those who had hyperflash(it's rare, but there are some cases out there)
Glad everyone likes it, and can appreciate the time that went into this kit. I would say it's pretty solid and fine tuned.
Stage 2's are in the works and will have a batch ready soon!
As far as the hyperflash in reverse with turn signals...I am afraid that is the nature of the beast. It's a small trade off but the benefits outweigh it in my opinion.

I thought we already narrowed down the ppl that need resistors and those that don’t? It’s not necessarily truck specific as mod specific … as in those that get hyper flashing are the ones that still need to buy the ultimate turns and are using the stock turns (obviously if your trim doesn’t have this then resistors will be needed somewhere more than likely)

I’m pretty sure that everyone that has posted with no problems have the ultimate turns.

I know for sure if you have my mirror turn signals you will not need resistors. As for the others, I've actually ran into 2 senarios with 2 different(stock) trucks and 1 needed them, the other did not. So it kinda case by case, but not a big deal as I will always support my stuff:thumbsup:

Just curious, would having front upgraded turns have any factor for this like mirror turns?

Happy to announce that the resistors removed ALL hyperflashing, in every scenario (including reversing with signal on). It is a beautiful thing!

Is the resistors plug and play like the V1 are or do they need to be tapped?

They were plug and play, unscrewed the connections to the switchback, put the resistor harness between it, DONE. Took all of maybe ten minutes total. I gotta go back and secure the resistors in place later, they're just sitting there at the moment.

I just got my resistors today. Won't be able to install them until tomorrow. Where did you guys mount them? I know these things get very hot so I'll need to mount them on a metal surface. Please provide pictures if you can.
