I only have the low beams for now but the highs will be purchased soon. Great cutoff.

 

Damn I wish I knew that these were going to make it to the Black Friday sale I would have held out. $112.50 for a set of these is a steal. Well I couldn't let a sale go by and not order something. Ultimate Map and Dome Lights are on the way. In the mean time a little Total Tail / Puddle Combo. Also the Eye of Megatron low beams. Notice the red glow from the Total Tails.

As far as I'm concerned, this should've come out as factory lights. When running lights are on, brake or turn gets washed out. I noticed the first time following a Tacoma.
Getting rear ended twice made me nervous in traffic and assholes following too close. Also, I see a LOT of Tacomas with rear damage.
This kit blares red lights into drivers faces. I recently bought VLEDS extreme reds so can't wait to put those in .
Stage 2 is bright ! I wanted stupid bright. Too many girls / women texting not paying attention.
Beauty about these kits are you can change bulbs as your budget allows.

 

This exactly. Having the running, brake, turn all in the same section AND the same color gets washed out. This is one of the main reasons why I developed the kit. It’s hard to convey to the normal taco owner what this kit does exactly, but once you see it in operation you’d wonder why Toyota didn’t do this from the factory.

 

And as a bit of eye candy, with the kit installed, your turns/flashers/lock/unlock lights now all match front, side, and rear in the truck (all amber).

 

Glad I waited out to order my Stage 1's! Can't wait to get these in..been wanting them for a while.

Looks like a bunch of us ordered stage 1! Should be a nice upgrade and I'll certainly feel safer with brighter brake lights, and more visible amber turn signals. Maybe people won't ride my ass as close.

 

Today I scored a SWEET deal on CL. Stage1 MESO kit for $80!!! The guy went to a 4Runner and was selling these. Love the PnP action and brightness of the lights!

I shot meso an email via his site but checking here in case anyone has ran into similar issues as me.

My driver side turn signal with the total tail stage 1 does not work and I get the hyperflash sound inside of the cab. If I put it in reverse, the light works but it just won't work with the turn. This issue is not present on my passenger side at all. I do have a third brake light tapped into the driver side for my camper so not sure if that's interfering with it or not.

Is the bulb bad, do I need resistors? Any info appreciated!!

 

In regards to asking if the bulb is bad, have you tried moving the bulb from drivers to passengers and vise versa with the working bulb? Check that to see if the problem moves with the bulb, or stays on the current side.

 

Good thought, I just tried it but it didn't work. Bulb is fine on the passenger side so something is wrong with the driver side
