Got it and that makes sense. I tend to park in the back of lots because I hate how people are around other people’s cars.

 

I received and installed the resistors today. 100% plug and play and they solved the hyper flashing of the turn signals when in reverse. I mounted the resistors with a small nut and bolt through an existing hole. There was mounting tape included but I've got everything coated with Fluid Film so it seemed easier that way.

 

Stage 1 and 2019 tail light install. Hard to capture the difference in pictures but very satisfied.

 

Love the light output. Can’t imagine how bright they would be with VLEDS in the brake light like some have done.

 

I know...I haven’t really seen my velds in action yet! But, I can see who’s behind me from the rear view mirror when at stop light! LOL

 

Must’ve been why I almost got rear-ended this morning haha.

I have more in production now, ETA ~3-4weeks.
For people that have the hyperflash, I have a new batch of resistors made and they are inbound as we speak. I am gathering a list of anyone that wants a set and they will be sent at no additional charge!(when I get them).

In the meantime, I felt like trollin’ Toyota a little

 

@MESO.. Will resistors be sent out with the S1’s now as part of the package?

 

I am not sure how I will handle the next batch of stage 1’s. Since it seems some people doesn’t have the hyperflash, I might be making the resistors as an option. (I hate to send a bunch out and then people not need/use them)

 

Hopefully I’m on this list. I sent you a PM. Would like to solve my hyperflash issue.

Loving how much brighter my taillights are!

 

I was experiencing this on my stage2 - and recall the statement to plug in the resistors if you experience. Of course, I have yet to do so....They the same, or should I reach out with other info @MESO ? Kit was about 5 months ago I think....if that has any bearing on VLED generation...

Stage 2 kit here. Just noticed this in a reflection so I checked it when got home. Excuse the photos, it’s freezing and raining outside right now. But with the brake pedal pressed, looking like the drivers side isn’t illuminating all the way any more

going to have to wait til this weekend to open it up and see what’s going on

 

interesting... maybe a connection or an issue with the led itself?

 

I'm not sure. When I have the opportunity I'm going to take out each tail light and check the LEDs, and try swapping the harness from the driver to the passenger side. Figure if the passenger side does the same thing with the harness from the drivers side, the harness is the problem. If not, the LED itself would have to be the problem.
