MESO Total Tail Light Kit

Pigtails? Likely the connectors to add a resistor, if needed, is my guess

 

I have S2 and I have no idea. I thought they were for resistors?

 

they are for resistors but for most aren’t needed. I just wrapped mine in electrical tape.

 

I used adhesive lined heat shrink, then pinched the ends so the glue squeezed out.

@MESO Question for you... Not sure if this has been asked already, if I missed it I apologize. I ordered a set of Ultimate Turn Signals with my Total Tails. If I end up having the hyperflash issue on my tails (if thats still a thing on the 2020s?), will the resistor built into my Ultimate Turn Signals be enough to remove the hyperflash? Or, will I still need another resistor on the tails themselves? Thanks!

 

I don't know exactly how all those relate but I did my mirrors the same time as my tails and never had hyper-flash.

 

Yeah, I only ask because in the description of the Ultimate Turn Signals on his website, he mentions that the built in load resistor in the Ultimate turn signals is the only resistor you'll need on your signal circuit. I'm curious if that includes the rears too or if they are on a separate circuit.

 

You only need one load resistor per side, if you have hyper-flash.

 

Typically if you have my mirror turn signals, you won't need a resistor on the total tail kit.

 

I wonder how long this will stay in stock for. I need to hold off for about three weeks.
