So I changed out my mirror turn signals again and it seems resistors are not built into this set so now I do have some hyper flashing.

can anyone tell me were the resistors you received (if necessary) were the vled resistors? And it’s been awhile since my total tail install but wasn’t there a little connection (unused plug) that was for the resistors or was that a dimming option? If so how are these installed- using the v6 triton screw on connectors or the duo tap splices?

@MESO the resistors you sent out were they specific to this kit/ plug n play (I’d rather not use the duo tap)? Is there a y splitter or something needed like the picture on the first? I’m trying to figure out on there site, unless I can buy directly from you? (Not looking for free bees because when I bought/installed your kit I didn’t need resistors. Now that I changed something up, that’s on me)

I have specific plug in resistors that do not require any splicing. Odd that you had hyperflashing AFTER the mirror signals, as they usually fix the issue. But Alas, just pm me an order number and I can get a set out.

 

No I didn’t cause it’s not a warranty type thing imo.

That’s probably why I couldn’t find it.
Ok so I 1st had your turns and no hyper flash. Then I swapped them out for the usr switchback turns and no hyper flash. This time I swapped with r4t sequentials and now have the hyper flash- I’m assuming his version doesn’t have resistors built in. I’ll shoot you a pm after I inhale these tacos right quick

I did 3 turns ago but I’m a sucker for the evenly diffused light (what was it called phosphorus something coating versus optic something?) I wish someone would make a switchback drl in the same fashion

Here's the resistor that I was sent out. It goes inline with the V6 Triton switchback plug, and has serious 3M adhesive tape to stick it to the inside of the taillight cavity. I ended up securing it with additional screws Works great! Thanks MESO!
