you might want to go with a thing blade like a exacto or olfa to make the tight radius turn.

Yup. Don’t worry about how the hole looks. As long as the adapter fits in you will never see it

image.jpg 2 down and adapters fit perfect. Honestly the holes didn’t even look that bad. My OCD had me take some fine sand paper and smooth them out a little to make the adapter fit perfect

UPDATE: JB weld on .... now to wait 4 hours for it to cure

To go along with this, I removed my left resistor like you suggested, do you know where we can source dummy plugs so I don’t have an electrical connection open like it is in our taillights? I did wrap some electrical tape on it, but I don’t see it lasting for years...

    Thanks

What you CAN do is source vacuum plugs.
Not sure the size but if you have a micrometer, simple.
If mine wasn't stuck in Kansas , I could tell you exactly the size.

I used a rubber plug with adhesive lined heat shrink.

Just had my stage 1s out in this current downpour we’re experiencing up in Redding and it was awesome seeing the Amber turns light up on the freeway for lane changes back through my rear views, seriously bright!

For what it’s worth I’m running no resistors, stage 1 kit, 35W morimoto HID lows, stock highs, and V4 ultimate turns. I had originally had installed both resistors and had issues/no blink. All squared away now and using my signals as much as possible :D

    Sooooo bright.. I’m melting.

What I like better about LED’s JUST IN GENERAL is their is their instant on time. If you slow motion my comparison video in the first post you will see the LED brake light comes on milliseconds before the halogen was still energizing up. Might not sound like a lot of time to people.... but that could be the deciding factor of getting rear ended or not.
The “intense” instant flash on is also the biggest benifit with LED’s as now they kick on like a safety beacon rather than a candle being lit.

So when you add that “instant on” to a chrome reflector bucket(with no obstruction lens) the intensity shoots through the roof. You will also see a series of waves in the outter lens plastic of the tail light itself. This makes the light bounce even a little more and spreading it out.
That’s what I most like about an amber LED in the reverse bucket section.
