Just some insider info.. Stage 2 will be changing in the future. It will still be a VLED setup, but will be 100% plug and play like stage 1(no modifications). Also, brighter than any other stage to date.

 

So your talking the adapters for the tritons will be no more, that means another custom bulb? That you are saying is even brighter than the tritons

 

This makes me feel a little better about missing out on the last drop.

Stew, I have stage 2, so on the "new stage 2" will there be a way to upgrade my current stage 2s with the new bulbs?

Unfortunately I don't think so. Now we have to go back down to the standard hole size, and the adapter is glued in it's spot...

How about going from S1 to the new S2, can we re-use existing wiring, would it just be replacing the LEDs?

 

Yes that is a simple swap.

What are the chances of you adding a pigtail or two extra wires onto the new stages? So those of us that have caps/toppers/shells so we won’t have to tap into your wiring or the OEM for the third brake light for our caps/toppers/shells?

 

My S2 tail lights said arriving today from Sacramento to Texas, but evidently now the package is in Hawaii today. Neat..

Now all that needs to be said/shown is what’s the difference going to be between current stage 2 vs new version preferably the semi scientific comparison. I’m not expecting you to know yet but would like to know the worth. Also the difference on a triton extreme switchback (if that will ever get released; but basing the specs with the current extremes available because there’s a big jump there on paper).

 

Mine went from Cali to Georgia and then went to Chicago where it has been sitting for three days. I’m in South Carolina.

I second this - it would be great to be able to tap into running light and brake light if possible. What’re the chances this can be done with the stage 2 v2?

 

Just installed my Stage 1 kit today. Took maybe 15 minutes and they look fantastic. None of the online videos or pictures do these justice. The light output is perfect, bright but not overly bright that they look stupid. Now I need to convert the front turn signals to LED
