Just got my Stage 2 kit today. Going to wait until the VLED bulbs come in possibly. I might attempt to do the adaptor mod this weekend since i'm off from class. Can't wait!

Thoughts on the resistors? Assuming they’re needed to avoid hyper flash, is heat generated by them really a concern? They should only carry load when the turn signal is active, right? And only when the signal is actively blinking light? If that’s true, I’m not sure heat is an issue.

I ask because I am currently running the resistors, but I simply zip tied them to the harness using one of the screw holes on the resistor.

Yea but one of these days you'll be running your hazards more than a few seconds for whatever reasons.
I wouldn't wrap it around a wire harness. I'd use a heat wrap first . Those things can get really hot if left on for minutes.
Lots of options to mount back there but not on plastic or wire harness.

Not sure on the stage 2 VLED resistors but the ones on stage 1can get hot.

Ooo, what's this 3:1?! I just recently discovered adhesive lined heat shrink. I can't use it enough.

    Lol

Larger the variation , greater the shrink size.
    Say.. 2:1 1/2 tube shrink to 1/4
    3:1 shrinks about to 1/8 .
Get marine grade as it is adhesive lined and thicker wall.
Always good to have bunch of different sizes on hand.

    Round 2 will be funnier.
    People will call in sick.
Whoever has the faster fingers will win .
All I can say is, putting in cart does NOT guarantee a purchase. You need to confirm purchase.
100 kits were gone in less than 3 minutes.
Man, I'm glad I won't be in that pool .

Yeah... it’s crazy. I think they call it waterproof heat shrink. I even like how some wire terminals have it on the crimp ends.

Yowza! Y'all ain't worried or concerned at all about blinding the drivers behind you at stoplights? There is so much concern on headlight cutoff to prevent negatively affecting other drivers, but seemingly zero when it comes to brake lights.
